Multidisciplinary Management
Granger Cavanaugh is a multidisciplinary arts manager who takes a "yes, and," approach to their career. This strategy has led them to work across the world in theatre, dance, orchestra, festival, and fan convention settings.
Granger's foundation is in stage management, where they especially enjoy working with children in theatre, and innovating theatre for practitioners with disabilities, both on and behind the stage.
As their career progressed, Granger became more interested in the administrative aspects of entertainment, particularly finance and marketing, which led them to become the head of finance for both DagdaCon and the In the Making festival.
In their free time, Granger enjoys exercising their creative side by sewing, crocheting, embroidering, painting, or anything else that they can do while listening to an audiobook!
A Global Mindset
I've lived in seven different cities across the world and have a network that spans nearly 20 countries. I am extremely adaptable and find great joy in experiencing new cultures.
I'm From
The United States!
Born in Georgia and raised in Ohio, I have family spread all over the country. I was heavily influenced by Appalachian culture and had the privilege of accessing world-class theatre at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio.
I've Worked In
The U.S.A, and most recently, Ireland. I've worked in more than 20 venues across the world, including a 15th century Irish abbey, and an Off-Broadway theatre.
I'm Eligible In
I have current work eligibility in Ireland and the United States. I have applied for permanent residency in Canada and am eligible for a standard work visa while the PR application processes.
I'm Currently In
North Eastern Ohio in the United States. Just an hour from a major international airport.
Where Next?
I'm on track to move to Ottawa, Ontario in early 2027!
However, I'm always willing to change plans for the right opportunity!
